What We’ve Accomplished Together
TOMSEY Engineering & Services International Ltd successfully delivered the HAZID and HAZOP Study Workshop for the provision of Early Well Testing/Early Production Facility (EWT/EPF) and Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) facilities for the Nkuku-Ikong Field Development Project.
Working collaboratively with Compact Manifold & Energy Services Limited, the design engineering team and other project stakeholders, the study brought together multidisciplinary expertise to systematically identify hazards, evaluate process risks and assess potential operability challenges associated with the proposed facilities.
“Through a systematic and collaborative review, the project team examined potential hazards, process deviations, causes and consequences to identify areas where design improvements and additional safeguards could enhance the overall safety and reliability of the development.”
Project Overview
The HAZID and HAZOP study formed an important part of the development process for the Nkuku-Ikong Field, providing a structured platform for evaluating the safety and operability of the proposed Early Well Testing/Early Production Facility and Floating Storage and Offloading facilities.
The study supported early identification and management of process safety risks, helping to inform design decisions and promote a safer, more reliable and regulatory-compliant field development.
